Millionaire Success Habits

Here are the 7 ways that millionaires and next generation leaders spend their “Me Time”

1. They Read… A LOT

Simply put, readers are leaders.

On my own journey, I read more than 500 books and I can say, without a doubt, that my massive commitment to self education is one of the only reasons I’ve been able to build a 7-figure business and lead the life that I live today.

If you want to become successful, turn off the TV and pick up a book… Period!

2. They Exercise

I don’t know anyone who is truly successful that doesn’t take the time to care for their bodies.

If you want to perform at the highest levels and experience the greatest levels of happiness and fulfillment, exercise isn’t a good idea… It’s mandatory.

You don’t have to become a crazy bodybuilder, but you DO need to carve out at least 30 minutes a day where you can get active, work up a sweat, and release those wonderful endorphins and endocannabinoids into your brain.

Trust me, every aspect of your life gets better when you get healthier.

3. They Take Time to Get Present and Focused on their Day

Nearly every guest I’ve interviewed has told me that they take a few minutes to themselves each morning to get present and mentally prepared for the day.

Many of them meditate, some don’t, all of them have a morning routine that allows them to get charged up and energized for the day ahead.

I recommend that you check out this interview with Hal Elrod to get some ideas for how you can create a killer morning routine that guarantees a successful day.

4. They Day Dream and Set Ambitious Goals

Successful people are future oriented.

Sometimes this can work to their detriment, but in most cases it gives them the vision and motivation to pursue the next great chapter in their life.

If you have a few minutes to yourself, I encourage you to actively day dream.

Think about the life that you want and the goals that you have for yourself.

Write them down and then go make them happen.

5. They Journal and Clear their Minds

Your mind is a lot like your bladder. If you don’t empty it, it’s going to fill up with toxic crap and make it REALLY hard to stay focused and present throughout the day.

One thing I’ve noticed about successful people is that they all have some sort of system for emptying their minds and getting their ideas out of their head and onto paper.

Some of them keep daily journals, some take monthly retreats where they write down ideas and evaluate their lives, and some of them make constant voice memos in Evernote.

Do whatever works for you but take time every day to empty your mind.

6. They Express Gratitude for Everything in Their Life

We live in the greatest time in human history.

Period.

I don’t care what you think about Trump or North Korea or anything else that isn’t going well in the world right now… THIS right now is the best time to be alive.

You have access to more information, better health care, and more resources than the richest kings from 200 years ago.

It’s important that you check in and remind yourself of this fact daily.

You have a lot to be grateful for and EVERY successful person that I know has an overwhelming attitude of gratitude and expresses it daily.

7. They Learn New Skills and Expand their Network

If you want to become successful then you need to become more valuable to the world.

How do you become more valuable?

By becoming better connected and acquiring valuable skills. It’s that simple.

Every successful person that I know dedicates some time each day to mastering their craft and expanding their network.

If you want to achieve their same results… You should too.
